The Blackpool Lead is news that's on your side—a new voice to connect, enable and help find solutions to local issues.

With Blackpool being the most famous seaside resort in the country, we know that much of the journalism here is focused on the bright lights, the illuminations and the things that make people travel to visit. We’re here to talk about the issues that affect people who live in Blackpool.

Since our launch in January, we've been sending out a weekly newsletter filled with features, in-depth storytelling, the biggest news from around town, and our recommendations for things to do. You can get the next one delivered straight to your inbox here.

We’ve also launched two print editions in 2024, including a special issue for the general election that reached 200,000 households. Have a read of Issue 1 and Issue 2.
